Sold as a lot of three. Two are full comp, one is square ground, semi skip. I used the square ground once and still sharp. Other two NIB, NOS. $150 free shipping. Paypal friends/family or USPS money order only.
Yes and no. They don't run as smooth, that's for sure. Aggressive as h*** though. And while they aren't always perfect, the square-grind (RSLK vs RSK) Stihl chains are much more consistent out-of-the box than any others I've tried. Coincidentally, I ran my MMWS 441 through a Swamp Oak yesterday and it was wearing an old-school fat-nose 20" ES bar and a loop of RSLK. Many smiles that combo brings, to my face it does. ETA: As far as I know, the RSK cutter is not discontinued, yet. RAPID Super Klassic (RSK) | Fast-Cutting Saw Chain | STIHL USA RSK has always been a (relative) rarity here east of the Rockies, at least as far back as I can remember. Especially the square ground and/or skip versions (RSLK, RSLHK, RSLFK). Not sure what you can still order from Stihl these days for loops and rolls.
Thanks! Sometimes i wish i cut more wood so i could compare different chains etc. Ran the square ground just to try it. Rare i use the 36" bar.
I’m watching for a longer bar to try on my new to me 461 for Alaskan chainsaw milling. Brad did you have a bar to go with these by chance? Those who know. Let me know if this is a bad idea. I’ve never had a 461 till now or chainsaw milled. Lenny Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No bar for sale. I had a big tree to fell a few years back and bought a 36" Laser brand bar and full skip chain to use on my 460. I ended up using it every now and then. Sold that one and bought a Stihl 36" bar. Not that often i use it, but handy when i need it. I knw buzz-saw mills with his 362 & 661, but dont know what length bars. Try posting this question in the milling section. Im sure there's a FHCer who knows.
You got it BRAD, 36 inch for 661 and 28 for 362 You do loose some bar length with the milling setup. No extra bars here , sorry.
Thats one thing i havent seen in person. Next time you CSM let me know. I still kick myself on the HVBW score i turned into firewood last year.
