Trimmed some buttress off this one. Can't remember who, someone was looking for pictures of Beech for ID. 20221226_111522.jpg

Should have swapped chains, this was not the chain to bore cut frozen Beech (or anything)

I guess I could have used the Echo CS2511T, but then I would have had to walk all the way around the trees to get cut up.

I like to cut about 32" up to save my back, or to make the area a chore if someone sneaks in before I get back.:whistle:I can always buzz a few chunks and stump it when I return.

All my saws currently run 3/8 LP. Never ran skip on anything. Most are Full chisel Stihl. Either the Picco Super yellow label or the low kickback version of it, the PM3 green label. I'm in process of porting a vintage Remington Mighty Mite that I'll be running 1/4 on to compare with the 3/8 LP on that saw.

Love the Surgi on the 562. I have a 24" on mine and love it. Great combination.

When did you get a 562? Last I remember you had a 550G still sitting in the box

Sometimes you've got to just pause and appreciate what a mess you're in.
