Yes, I had a Drew Estate Java Mint last night it was pretty good. They all seem a bit harsh at times though.

I had a DE factory sweet earlier today and the taste was ok, but it didn’t smoke very well. Didn’t want to stay going and it was so cold out my lighter quit wanting to work also :jaw: Hot tub while watching chiefs game though so not too shabby.
again, Merry Christmas fellas. Thankful for my FHC family

Well I call it a "cigar" room ... its the little room that the previous owner put in the basement... I have a ventilation window that I put a fan in to circulate air (when its not this darn cold)...

I tend to be a creature of habit. So when I find something I like, I go all out, with pretty much anything. I found a type of jeans that hold up better than anything I've ever used, so that's pretty much all I wear.........same with shirts. Started with McCulloch saws, so that's what I stuck with till I bought a Stihl, then I bought several. (I do have 2 large Husky's). I've had, who knows how many square body's, so that's what I stick with.....and so on, so forth.

Cigars tend to be the same way. I do try to buy variety and samplers, but always go back to what I'm familiar with. Some of my current buys are stuff I've never smoked before. So I'm trying to branch out more.

Anyway, I know it varies person to person, or palate, to palate, but I was curious, what's everyone's top 3 favorite cigars/cigarillos, for whatever reason you choose. I'd like to possibly use these for my next purchases. The cigar world is vast, as you fellas know. So I'm curious your favorites, or recommendations.

    Mine are:
1 Montecristo Platinum - First cigar I could really taste the different flavors and they worked with my palate. Hands down my go to cigar.

2 Acid Krush Cigarillos - Any flavor. They taste great. Good, short smoke. Great for first timers as well I've found.

3 JR Alternative of the Montecristo No.2 - They're mild, taste great, draw amazing, burn even and best of all, are inexpensive. They're easy on the wallet, if I choose to smoke big cigars more often.

In my brief stint as a cigar smoker :

    1) Camacho Ecuador

    2) Ashton VSG, I have only had 2 but they were both great.

    3) Monte Cristo White Label Especial #3

I have only had one San Cristobal Quintessence & it was great

My list is subject to change as I gain experience with different stogies.

It is amazing how one’s mood has such a huge bearing on how a cigar is perceived.

My top three have varied over the years so I'll jus tlist cigars that I prefer highly over others.

In no particular order....I just have to type them down fast before I forget them!

    Perdomo 2 mistakes maduro.
    Arturo Fuente Hemingway.
    Tabak Especial red eye (sweet)
    Legends Black (sweet)
    LaPalina maduro
    Perdomo Champagne
    Rocky Patel Vintage 90 maduro
    Cao LaTraviata Maduro (discontinued....dang it)

There are some 2nds offered by Oliva with the maduro san andres wrapper also...I think there are two different varieties.

Don't like any cigar that is heavy on nicotine....can't handle the spins anymore!!!

Yeah, it really is. I notice the same thing. Even though the Platinum is my go to and favorite, there are sometimes I just don't feel like one. Then, whether I've ate, what I'm doing, where I'm at, all tend to play into things as well, for me.

I don't have a ton of years experience myself, and like I mentioned, I don't stray very far from what I know, till recently. I've always done samplers, but as much as I like them, they're a crapshoot.

Anyway, I like a Monte White too, but that's the only one I've had out of the ones you mentioned. I about bought some Camacho's the other day on CB, but went a different route. I'm going to put the other 3, besides the Monte on my list to get. I have Drew Estate Java's on the list too. Those seem popular.
