    We're going to get at least some snow, and wind. 25 + mph sustained and 50+ mpg gusts. The wind is going to be nasty.

    Supposedly 5-9" of snow for us by the lake, a little less inland. But the wind and drifting snow won't be fun. Yes, I have some running around to do before Christmas....

    At least we'll get a white Christmas, which hasn't happened in a couple of years.

    National Weather Service says we might get 6 to 8 inches local news says 6 to 10 inches,
    blowing snow is going to be the real problem I think
    I guess we have to cancel Christmas ;):D

    A dramatic December cold front is poised to sweep across much of the Lower 48 states Wednesday night through Friday, bringing heavy snow for some and a sudden temperature drop that could lead to the coldest December weather in decades for many locations. The National Weather Service warns of “life-threatening cold” with wind chills that “will create a significant hazard for travelers that become stranded.”

    Temps supposed to drop here after the storm goes by.
    Fairly strong (maybe 60 mph) warm southerly (maybe 60ºF) winds and then concerns about thin ice and kids home from school.
    I have milk and bread.

    My power company sent out 6 texts about them being ready and I should get ready too. So I'm currently charging all my 18v Ryobi batteries for lighting so now my counter looks like it's ready for Christmas with green blinking lights (chargers saying they are charging). Last night I topped off the batteries for my power station - just in case. I rarely lose power, but being prepared is better than not.

    Predictions really dropped, just as I expected. Some have scoffed at me saying we'll get buried. Ha! Now only a couple inches predicted.
