Forecasts are crazy. Some say rain, then ice, then snow. Accuweather says just a little ice followed by 10-15" snow. Whatever...

    Good morning, members.

Mid-20's and clear. Sunny and mid-30's later.

Bringing wood to the deck this morning. Then, a few errands.

A nor'easter is forecasted for Friday. We're to be on the warm side of it. 2inches of rain and 60⁰ on Friday, with gusty winds.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

Good morning! 23F and partly sunny. A guy texted me yesterday inquiring about my wood supply. He drove down from Goshen (about 30 minutes north) to pick up 1/4 of mixed hardwood from the roadside stand. Said he couldn't find dry wood nearby. I helped him load and had a nice chat with him. Set a new tote out after work. Planning to resplit lots of bundle wood last night for inventory. Weather is supposed to turn awful and cold Thursday so I need to get ready. Have a God day!

    Good morning y'all
35/49 and overcast, so no sunrise pic today.
Planning to mill a bit of cedar for a customer today, and work on getting the last of the livestock under cover for the alleged cold/snow.

    Have a blessed day y'all

Morning all. Late start this morning as we got home late last night. It was drifting light snow for most of the trip home. We get home and no fresh snow. Temps are below freezing though this morning. -5C/23F We saw much colder temps on the way down island. It is outflow cold from the interior of BC which is seeing a polar drop from the north. This is going to be a mess which it warms up in time for Christmas.

Grocery shopping, getting the tree put up and finishing Christmas presents is on the agenda for today if I can get moving this morning - which is half gone already.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good morning to all. Chilly here but bitter cold is on the way.
Up since 2:00 for final prep for procedure.
My buddy and I, who hired the same day and retie together, are having a retirement gathering at noon.

combined experience of 65 years. Do a final clear out of my office- already turned all my firearms in. Made arrangements to given a lot of my kit and uniforms to the Reserve unit.

home this afternoon for a four day weekend over the Holidays.

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. 38° this morning, not raining at the moment. I think we are going down to my SIL's, taking a few things to them for Christmas. Sad situation with her right now. They need prayers.
Probably be nap time after that.

Good morning! 30F and cloudy. The storm is predicted to move in tomorrow. When I got home from work I found all 10 bundles from the roadside stand gone so I took out the 4 I had in the barn and brought a tote of ash inside to resplit. I went through about 1/4 of the tote and made 12 bundles. Took 8 more out to the stand to top it off. Did a little shuffling to make room for vehicles. This morning I had my first customer before 7:30. He took a small stack of oak. I'll refill that tonight. I need to move a car and truck into the barn and put the bucket on the skid loader. Have a God day!
