I had/have a bunch of crows, out in the cut corn. Also have a hen turkey out there chasing the crows around. I've seen some tracks in the snow that sure seemed larger than a pheasant. She came into the yard so I could get a decent pic. Good to finally see one here.

We get some big flocks over a couple of years and then the coyotes come thru and whittle the flock size down to almost nothing.

Yes. It still surprises me when I see them roadside and they don’t seem to flinch at passing cars. They pass through my yard more often than I see them. A distant siren will set off the coyotes and it sounds like a giant pack, so they may be after the turkeys.

They are all over the place. We have coyotes but they don't seem to make a dent in the population. Screenshot 2022-12-16 231259.png

If you want turkeys, come here and take all you want. We have way too many. A few days ago on way home, in the last mile we saw around 150 of them. It is amazing.

I do not think coyotes get but a very few. It would maybe be easier for them to get some young but not adults. We rarely see feathers or other sign a turkey fell prey and but the looks of it I would believe eagle or hawk rather than coyote.

Rio Grande out here, DFG brought them in from Texas and Mexico and they are everywhere now. As we were eating turkey dinner for Thanksgiving a line of Toms walked past our window. I swear they were just teasing us!

Same here! I will occasionally see feathers from a kill but it is uncommon considering how many birds are around. They roost up in the trees and fly more often than you would expect. I used to hunt them with a BP shotgun but that's years ago now.

I see a group of about a dozen go through the yard from time to time. Usually they eat all the deer corn then leave.

Sorry, no pictures to show but when I took the memory card back down to the game camera yesterday evening I scared up a flock of no less than 15 birds in the deer food plots. Haven’t seen any around for some time but used to see them often. Hopefully the camera will pick them up when/if they return.

We have them but they seem to come and go. I won't see any for months on end and then they'll show up. Had a rather large flock last year that I saw while hunting. This year I only saw 3. We do have coyotes, but I'm not sure if they're getting them or not.

Back in early 80's there were none around here.
    Now ; it's a whole different ballgame.
    Plenty to go around.
