Well, first snow for us. More nuisance than anything, but it was the first. About 3inches overnight. I decided to shovel it out of way. Save the snowblower and fuel, for real snow.
Ain't that something..... we had our first snow exactly one month ago......way down here in southern Missouri. Is this kinda late for y'all's first snow in your area? This pic was taken on November 12th...
We got rain. )-: There were some flurries in the air earlier from that ocean effect snow and there were some light flurries from the wweaqther that came thru overnight but it turned to rain.
First snow at my house this year was November 15th. It wasn't much, maybe an inch and it was gone within a day. In 2020 we had our first snow on October 30th, and in 2011 we had a Halloween snowstorm that left most of the state without power for a week, since it took down thousands of trees that were still clinging to their leaves. Other years, it's still in the 60s well into November. This year was kind of like that. Some cold snaps early on, then mild temperatures persisting. It all depends on what the jet stream decides to do.
We had similar a few weeks ago, had the drive plowed but it honestly wasn't worth it. Got alot of ruts now though so that's fun!
We got nuthin! Had to go to Augusta today, they had a really heavy dusting. Pretty funny to drive south to run into snow.
Might have some snow Thursday, but probably will be just a mixture of mess and car wrecks. I better go get some milk, bread and eggs!!
Today We’re getting one of the best snows we’ve had for several years. 10pm as I write this and probably have 10” kinda hard to tell ‘cause the wind really picked up this evening. Supposed to snow well into the night and blow all day tomorrow. See what morning brings
Looks nice around my area a 3 inch snow would cause panic!! grocery stores jammed all the landscapers dumping tons of salt
