A dreary 31F here. Got about 2" of wet snow yesterday that brightened things up a bit. Wind is from the east and feels damp. Oak and Maple in the boiler, dreaming of 20 and sun. Not looking likely.
Just restarted the fire from last night... 39/71 ... Cherry and 1 chunk of hedge in front of the dog house... Might be enough to get me through the night even... This mid thirty stuff is tough cant load it full or with too high of BTU stuff or I'll be cooking myself out... and then you have those odd time loads...

41/71 just loaded maple, elm and a round of pignut, getting very foggy outside. Picked up 55 lbs of deer today and passed out some trail to people that let me hunt.
39/73. Got a nice bed of coals going with some holly and just threw on some hardwood mix to keep her going. Cooking @ 425 right now.
69/44 load of tulip poplar in the fireview. Got way to hot last night it was 81 when we went to bed. I was drinking ice water in shorts and t shirt.
32 this evening and burning a mixed load of yellow birch, Shagbark hickory skinnies, with ash shorties as filler.
