Lol! Splitting up the rest of the 2 pine trees that were taken down from my front yard. Pretty confident this will cause a chimney fire. :):smoke:

Still a little sap in there.

Planning to use this as shoulder season in the spring. It's been sitting in rounds for over a year.

That's a nice score! I love having some pine. I keep a cord around for fall and spring and kindling. When we lived high in the mountains all we would burn is Lodge Pole pine. Now I'm on property with thousands of Blue Oaks and Live Oaks and I still go out of my way to keep a cord of pine on hand. Enjoy it!

MM says 18%. Now I have some SS wood! :dex: Basement smells like the lumber isle in Lowes/Home Depot.

I'll burn all the Pine I can get for SS. My issue is I hate the Austrian Pine we have around here. Miserable stuff to process, unreal amount of sap, and the ends of the rounds seal up fast so it goes punky in the round pretty fast. Now White Pine or Spruce I'll take anytime. At 18%, that stuff will be like gasoline by spring. Should be perfect for SS.

Still need to start an advice needed thread on that. He doesn't have a ladder to measure the existing terracotta.
