I think Miz Carol could fly around the country stacking wood for the rich and famous.
On the other hand if she’s stacking your customers wood that nice you’re losing money LOL Needs more fluff :)

We got the bucked rounds split and stacked yesterday, did a few that morning, then finished up late that evening. Only need a bit more than 1/2 stack to have a cord. 1202221757_HDR.jpg

Building up quite the inventory for future sales. Way to get it done, just hope you don't run out of logs/trees.

A wood yard full of those would look neat and tidy for sure.

After rain Monday/Tuesday, we were able to get out Tuesday night, got the 4 logs left bucked and enough split to finish the 1+ cord shed on 1 side. 1206222137.jpg
We had these rounds left, so the 1st trailer load was a little more than a cord. Going to split these and take to a friend. 1206222137a.jpg
The left side of that shed only has 1 row left. We will probably put what we can of the 2nd load in it.

Jeff, looks like your splits are longer than 16 inches. I guess I consider that somewhat of a standard. I do 16. Do you split longer and why if you do?

Your stacks are gorgeous. And I like your pallet bins.

Yes sir, they are longer, we cut the majority of our wood 18", fits our (20") stove better, and most of our customers use 18". We also cut some 14", 15" and 16" for different customers. Even have a couple that gets 22" for fireplaces.

We split the leftover rounds and added them to the hickory we carried to our friends in Alabama. 1209221147.jpg
While we were there, a local deer camp called, needing a big load. They have gotten wood from us before. We told them all we had ready was green. That was fine with them...:picard:... So after we got back yesterday afternoon about 4:30, moved the splitter and got conveyor in place. Loaded the shed we just filled...:tears::zip:...wish they would have called us before we had it stacked.... 1212221839.jpg
At least we have more to fill it again.
