    I'm thinking the same thing. Far be it from Chevy (or any other manufacturer) to pass up the opportunity of plastering 3/4 ton badges all over it!

    Glad to see it doesn't have that "math equation" on the side of it too!

    With Chevy its so hard to tell for sure, if you don't keep up with it all...they had light duty 2500's with 6 bolt wheels, and there were a few years with HD 1/2 tons with 8 bolts wheels also! :hair:

    1500, 5.3 litre, bought it with 49,000 on the clock. I usually don't see 8000 miles a year on a vehicle so they won't rack up too quick. As mentioned, bought it certified so all the expensive fixes are covered another 100,000 miles. It's good peace of mind, just hope to never use.

    I called for an appointment early this week, they were scheduling for Dec 15-16th then...they do it while you wait, doesn't take that long at all.

    Shoot, winter's almost over now...might as well wait and get it done at the crack of November for next winter.
    Sure glad I got our stuff in this year (last minute) the amount of salt on the roads right now is crazy!
