Chainsaw Pics...

How's the learning curve on it. Been thinking about one myself. All my chain is 3/8.

 

Not long at all, especially if you only have 1 size/style chain

 

This one rides in my toolbox most of the time. Has an OE 346xp p&c.

 

I enjoy this one the most. I need to use it more.

Thanks. As a kid, dad and I would cut locust posts each winter. We used 10-10's. The Super Pro 81 was the big saw for larger stuff.

I have an 805 that needs a piston. Years ago Dad was trying to keep up with a great running Husqvarna, leaned her out too much. I plan on getting it up and running one of these days.

 

Those 805s aren't the fastest but they sure have Alot of grunt

 

New toy….. just needs a clean up and a sharpening…. Sure is a noisy thing!!

 

What year do think thats from? Always cool seeing the evolution of chain saws.

 

I think early/mid 1960’s. I was doing a little reading and what I saw said that they only had the blue cases on the earlier versions. It still has the dealer decals on it from a local dealer that my dad remembers being near where he grew up.

 

Thats always cool with old stickers. Trip down memory lane. Couple of mine have them.

 

I had a blue Homelite similar to that. Model escapes me currently......

XL101! That was it. I hope to find a minty blue and white 150 automatic Homelite.

Hard to believe they came with 3/8 chain, 16" bar and 40ish cc. They pull it pretty well too.

 

Bout to make pine firewood in PA. Pretty sure my house is already on fire.

 

My echo 335, Redmax gz7ooo, Husqvarna 261 XS, and the new to me 394.

 

Nice those are lots of fun to run…I recommend 25:1fuel ratio for them old homelites
