28* going to 50s. I've been letting the fire burn out during the night, so in the AM downstairs is a little chilly. Mix of ash and red oak to warm back up.

The lake finally got iced over last night. But......the next few days will be in the 40's for highs, so......

Plenty of sunshine landing here today!

37/75. Just loaded up w/ the rest of the chestnut oak bark. Why waste it right! It makes heat too.

60 today and lows in the 30's. We have a small fire before bed and get it going again in the morning. Mix of pine and oak. Praying for rain!

I agree, bro! I burn stacks of Douglas Fir bark that falls off when I split. It puts out a ton of heat and burns for hours. It’s money in my pocket, as far as I’m concerned.

It’s 26 degrees outside with some decent snow falling. 74 degrees inside. Burning some half punky silver maple that somehow survived shoulder season.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

32 now, heading to upper 30's with showers this afternoon. I'm thinking the lake ice that managed to form may change it's state once again.

33 out 70 in. No fire just the NG boiler. Let the fire go cold as the wife was baking all evening and sunny and close to 60 today. With a house full for the feast it would be too warm. Bird going in shortly. Happy Thanksgiving !!

28 and 70 with cherry in the stove. Dinner at 4 today. I figure I can get the stove cranking hard again around 6:30. Can't have the mother in law getting too settled in.

I have 25 here. Let the fire go out after that bark raised the inside temps to 80. Figured the kitchen stove and guests would heat it up enough w/out one. Seems every year we’re opening a window.

I have the deep fryer oil preheated to 200. About 1-1.5 hours and it’ll be go time. Happy Thanksgiving hoarders!

24 overnight; 25 now. Looks like the ice on the lake didn't fare so well yesterday. I'll have to take a closer look later on.

Sunshine and 40 for today. same but 49 for tomorrow.
