In the empty shelves dudes economy you can never start too soon. Then again, who has the money to go Christmas shopping?
Here we go again. Lets skip Halloween and Turkey Day and go straight to Pay-Day ( pay-day for the retailers that is )
I was meeting my coworkers at the commuter lot this morning and made a new friend. https://youtu.be/7vszX6W-HV4
I spoke in a re-assuring tone and would sometimes crouch down to present a not-so tall image to the fox. It ended up coming right up to me and being able to feed it out of hand. But.....before you try this, take a good look at the eyes and mouth area for signs of sickness. Way too many people assume that the fox is rabid if it doesn't run away around humans. By nature, they are a very curious breed and don't take much to acclimate our presence. A slice or two of lunchmeat for it and it will soon be a favorite part of your day!
That’s pretty amazing This particular fox has been hanging around the commuter lot all year. I’ve seen it carrying around rabbits and chipmunks a couple times. I’ll have to bring a snack along for next time. Unfortunately the area it’s at is only a few acres of woods with two major roads crossing nearby. I’m sure it would appreciate some food though.
Times gone by, this 1950's photo shows two station attendants taking care of customers. You won't see anything close to that kind of service in 2022!
