There are a whole bunch of saws I'd like to see running AT/MT. It won't add power necessarily but it should ensure you get all of what is there already.

But then where would I find all the saws with toasted top ends to buy?

I was talking to dex. It sounded like he thought that i thought that the 362 was junk and why would he want it.

To me I'd rather have the 665 any day over the other 60cc offerings. At/my doesn't matter to me either. Dex likes the mtronic as do others. Seeing how close the solo is to the 372 puts it almost even with the 044/440 also in power for much less money. All the hard internal parts can be bought from dolmar if needed. You just need a spacer to run the dolmar cylinders.

You are one of my favorites. :)

A great friend with an amazing personality.

I thought the stock MS362C was a turd. Look at my first build thread......I was not impressed.

I know how these stroker Solos run........been all over that long before now.

For the MS362C to even be close......well I'm proud of that. Not many folks understand that these Solos are factory hot rods. Serious hot rods.

Many races have been won against heavily ports saws with the 681. It was known to be so hard to beat, that not many people tried to port them.

The first one I ported had already been ported at. There this place in Indiana that will port a saw while you wait. I've redone a bunch of their work. They ruined this 681.....I had to use a 272 piston to salvage the cylinder. It was a turd.

    I tried again.......it was still a turd.

We got a new 681 top end......and I just enhanced what Solo gave me........it is a beast now. The moral of this story is simple.

These stroked Solos are bad MFers.

    Amen brother!! :dex:

I honestly wish I would have skewed the results. This thread, and now another one of mine have taken a turn. It's ran it's course..

Thank you for the kind comments. If I honestly thought that the saw wasn't noticeably stronger? I would have emailed you. I think we have a good enough friendship that you know I am honest and forthcoming. I love this saw to death (362) and I am tickled pink with it..

With that said, I'd rather end this one on a positive note. So until next time (or when they have more run time on each) I am shutting this one down. :)

One last comment. Yes. Plastic and covers will fit as well. As well as the muffler (as long as it's not a Cat model). But you can interchange all parts. (Crank is 1 mm longer, so that must be taken into account when swapping jugs).

    Cheers ya'll
