    Definition of a true firewood hoarder... someone who'll work in 80 degree heat to get wood he'll use in 2-3 years, in below zero "heat"... :yes:

    Yikes... that's warm. Those trees all laid out along the edge sure must make you grin. Easy to get at, makes a big dif... :yes: ... :tree:

    Looking good Loon! Premium BTU'S in those dead elm, yes it can be miserable to split but I love burning it......

    Great pics, I never get tired of your pics and posts. Very serene up there as others have said.....how have the nighttime temps been up there? Feeling a chill in the air yet?

    Loon, I looked up those walking stick bugs. Seems they have an appetite for oak leaves. Some other vegetation mentioned, but oak seems to be preferred. They are said to be nocturnal.

    Its the new spot for dropped trees stinny as the other one is pretty full :yes: Thanks Scotty and ya the nights are cooling right down.
    Didnt know that save and its weird as there are hardly any Oak trees around here. They are a neat looking critter for sure:)

    Loon, very nice pictures. Enjoyed seeing the pup as usual, but also seeing you working smart and using the equipment to do some of the back breaking work.
    That picture of the deer is outstanding. I'm saving that one.

    Lottsa easy dead stuff this year rotti and will be back at it after i get back from work this morning. :yes:

    It was with this doe save and i was all over the place with the camera as it was getting dark and it wouldnt focus right :hair::D

    Gonna grab some apples today and will setup the game camera down in that field.;)
