Taking down some white oaks and poplar

Yes, I’ll burn it, but I’d rather use my time, energy and fuel processing the other piles of logs. A friend that has a wood-mizer wants the logs, but if he drags his feet on the pick up, I’ll turn it to splits. There’s a So Red Oak behind this tree that’s next on the hit list.

If I had a sheltered wood-mizer lt50, a machine to move logs and a building to store boards, yes.

 

Good job sir! Some nice splits to come from that. Landlord wants to take down a couple TP just into our woods. Massive twin trees. One i can fell into the woods with ease, but has since had a standing dead maple fall against it and its to dangerous for me now.

 

My reason for not saving big mill logs too. If i can get them on the truck they can get milled.
