We have got about 4” more so far today. Still coming down. Looks like I’ll be putting my plow to work after all, later tonight or first thing in the morning.
Folks who live where there is deep snow should know all about that and have sense enough to take care of it. Most times when roofs collapse it is negligence with some company. Usually too, it is flat roofs that are problems. Snow can't slide off.
This is true Sav. I can also see it could be difficult for many to get this done when the first real snowstorm of the season brings you six feet in less than 30 hours time.
The Suburban and new plow did a nice job cleaning up the snow. I haven’t finished plowing everything because of long working days, but am off for a couple after today. I will finish Monday morning and then move more firewood in under cover. Getting colder overnight but then warming up to 37 by afternoon.
Brought some wood up to the house and got my work bench into the shed. Not done but now i can work at it at my leisure.
I have a question about my sons wood burner flue. It had a smoke leak first time he tried it around the 90. Probably 30” up with single wall black to one of these; I told him he needed a double wall 90 like I have, so he went out in his garage and found a bunch of stuff and brought this in; Mine does not look like that. My question is, is that piece intended for use with the single wall black that he has? I’m guessing not.
Thanks Al. I've never seen this style before but I really didn't think it was correct for his set up. Not sure why the previous owner even had it there.
