probably one of those food app delivery drivers.. (car was parked at his girlfriends work, restaurant) Our insurance doesn't cover damage to our cars. He'll just fix it himself the best he can. Even if insurance covered it, a little time and a can of paint is less hassle than dealing with the insurance company. He doesn't think he'll be able to get it all the way out, but it's a 9 year old Kia Rio so it's not the end of the world.
It snowed a bit today. Friends dad is moving back to Florida ( he is 96) helped move some furniture and got some stuff he left. Two work benches. One for the pole barn, one for the shed. Got this and some other odds and end, rough cut lumber that was going to be thrown away. Spendy fella, I just cut my bar oil with kerosene and call it a day. Looks like he halfway filled up his chainsaw resivoir and parked it until now. Well over 20 bucks at the still dealer.
Caffeine! Looks like we will get lucky and receive little snow from the Lake Effect. So far we have about an inch. I’m hoping we don’t get much, if any, more. Would like to get the rest of our firewood moved in under the porch before any more snow. That and plenty of other stuff to do next few days. You hoarders have a great weekend.
Now Gasifier we both know that it’s not about a white Christmas; it’s a white thanksgiving maybe Halloween
I said a prayer for you today And I know God must have heard I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame (I knew you wouldn't mind) I ask Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind I asked that he be near you At the start of each new day To grant you health and blessings And Friends to share your way I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small But it was for his loving care I prayed for most of all! 22* here...a lil snow on the ground too, not much, just enough to give the grass a light candy coating...
Daughter came home from college yesterday, wife and her loaded a trailer load. When I got home, we delivered it to my son (who recently bought a house) and had supper there. Sure do miss seeing that boy! Mostly hickory that he helped me cut several years ago that got buried in my stacks and overlooked. There’s some white oak from that score too and a couple pieces of chestnut oak. He has a wood stove and has started hoarding but this is the first dry wood he’s had. Told him to be cautious, that sbh will get hot!
The snow that you are having over there has made the news over here: Potentially historic snowstorm hits New York state
