Good morning. We just got back from five days at deer camp. The deer hunting was slow due to the population collapse which started in 2019. We had snow and between four of us in woods we saw a total of 4 deer tracks in a 5 square mile area. I saw a timber wolf from the stand and one of the guys saw a moose. There are also a lot of grouse around.

It was a great time as always, and the new sauna I built works great.

Cold this morning. 30⁰ and clear. Heading to low 40's.

I'm off for an x-ray and blood test. Annual checkup following kidney stones a few years ago.

I'll run some errands while out. Then, schedule the septic system pump out. Also an annual event.

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. We made it home about 6:30PM, after stopping close to the GA line and eating a late lunch with our cousin's youngest daughter and their 9 month old son.
Made it thru ATL traffic ok.
35° this morning, heading to the 50's. Had a fire since last night, kept the chill off.
Got to load hickory, ash and maybe a little oak, make a cord load for a new customer. Long trip, but he didn't mind the delivery fee.

Above freezing this morning with the forecast of nothing but sunshine all week.

After my earlier errands, I decided to mow the yard for the last time this year. I also brought wood up to the deck.

While in the woodyard, I noticed ice on the top of a stack.


Not a big deal for some, but it's the 1st time it's gotten cold enough.

Septic clean out scheduled for Thursday, 8am.

 

30'F here in New England on the Ma/NH border.

3 year seasoned hardwood, mainly oak and maple. No wind I might have to go for a ride on one of the motorcycles for an hour or two.

 

Good afternoon all. 28* staying in low 30s today. Got our first real snow. Looks like getting snow sll week. Won't amount to much. Of course the stove is keeping me toasty. Many shorts and chunks.

I'm right handed but I drive a desk all day so typing is a huge part of my life. Let's just say I have to do a lot of proofreading now.

The doc said he gave me a normal finger, that the nail would grow back and I won't need therapy. I don't know if that means it will be 100% functional.

 

Good afternoon! 37F and partly cloudy. I'm just about to head home. Need to move some wood with the skid steer tonight and fill the roadside firewood stand. That's about all I'm cleared to do until the finger heals a little more. Have a God day!

I'll be heading out to get some winterizing lawn fertilizer and lime pellets. Rain tonight, after a chance of a few snow flakes. Good time to apply fertilizer and lime today.

Good morning everyone! I couldn't make myself do anything outdoors yesterday, after the temp dropped. Today will be different! I still have to reorganize the shed. At least it's sunny out.

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. A lot warmer this morning at 51°, started raining as we left home to take grandson to school and then I have my yearly work physical. If it stops raining for a while, we have some more loads of wood to deliver. If it rains, might do some saw maintenance.

Morning All We are in for a week of gorgeous sunshine I think. Yesterday was awesome weatherwise. Work was interesting as a teacher substitute didn't show up for work on top of being short teachers to start with. Quite a few job posting and no one to fill them.
