    Good afternoon, y'all. Hope y'all are having a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY.
    We have been getting some winds from the TS. A little rain this afternoon. I think we will get more tonight. Storm is forecast to come over our area.
    It's my last day of work for awhile, till the 21st. We're heading to Starkville, MS in the morning, got tickets to see the DAWGS play the Miss St Bulldogs, gonna be a dogfight...:picard::picard:...my cousin and his wife are going with us.
    Supposed to be about 30° Saturday night.
    Be a light in this dark World.

    Unfortunate incident with the splitter. Traumatic partial amputation is the technical term. The surgeon did a remarkable job.

    The weather set a new record yesterday at 77 degrees. This is unheard of for this time of year, but it did feel good. Now we are headed back towards reality and the stoves will need to be kept stoked.

    Low 50's and light overcast. Heading to upper 60's with rain later. Remnants of hurricane Nicole tonight and tomorrow.

    I'm still dealing with getting leaves outta way. So back at it today before the rain and wind gusts get here. Then, a few errands.

    No pics. The real thing was enough for me. Just above the first knuckle, hanging by a bit of skin. It was crushed between a round and the back plate of the splitter.

    I think I was all thumbs before the accident so this certainly doesn't help! Honestly it isn't that bad. The hardest part is not being able to use my left hand for anything significant. And NO firewood work for a while longer.

    Good morning and happy Friday! 46F and cloudy. I woke up early so I took the opportunity to fill the roadside stand before sunrise. I need to get leaves mulched before the temp drops tonight. Then I'll see what else I can get into. Have a God day!

    If your left handed its all the more difficult. You realize how much you use your left hand on a daily basis. As im typing i realized thats one thing you cant do with a bad index finger. (I type two fingered) LOL!!!

    Did the orthapedist say you would have a full recovery and have full use of it?

    Yes. I used to type normally but now have to hunt and peck because my fingers don't work since I had neck surgery 2 years ago. It is a pain in the....

    Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a SUPER SATURDAY. Finally made it to motel last night. Got lost a couple times when MAPS lost GPS signal. And our rooms/hotel is about a dump. About the only thing available within 30 miles of the stadium. Maybe we can survive 1 more night.
