It's not often we are colder here in Deltana than Rope's temps in Tok. That was the temp when I headed out the door this morning to install the woodstove in the chicken coop, workshop. Warmed up to 10 below F during the day. Then dropped down to 21 below by the time I got all the chickens moved into their new home for the winter IMG_20221106_094530077.jpg Fire killed white spruce keeping the winter Outside.

First fire in the stove in the new building. IMG_20221106_142500578.jpg

I did add another section of pipe after I took the pic. I was just a bit excited to get some warmth going in there.

Been in the low 70's daytime temps, and 65 right now. No need for a fire, except for the fire pit to keep the gnats away when I am splitting. My son has started a fire in the stove Saturday and Sunday night when he is downstairs in the den hanging out, watching movies with his friend of the female type. I have a mixed bag of ash, pine, maple and cherry stacked by the stove.

30 now. Windy as heck for over 24 hours now. Should die down some today.

Not going to get out of the 30's for today's high.

64* going to 70 something, then cooler temps. moving in. Hopefully it will help with deer hunting, which has been slow so far. Next week Im off and temps are looking great for the last week of PA archery season.

I want it cooler but Rope and Cold Trigger Finger, you can keep those temps. :shiver:.

Right now it’s a very mild 62 with not a cloud in the sky.

Storm came and went, and we're stuck in a mini deep freeze, in the sense of being cold for this time of year. -16 C/4?F at the moment with polar n pine in the reactor.

No one wants to win the coldest temperature contest. I gladly yield to whomever would like to lead the way. I love winter and snow if we could have temps no colder than -30* would be awesome.

Windows open at night in November. Not rare, but certainly unplanned for. maybe not tonight, but we'll see.
