I cut a handful of seasoned Pine rounds to 14-16 inches for a struggling neighbor today - and hauled them to his house in my ATV trailer (about 3 miles).

He has a tiny stove and is living on social security. He also loves burning Pine, which I’m happy to donate. Only lost one round on the way:cool:

Gorgeous blue sky day at around 30 degrees today.

Been busy lately. Hope all are doing well!

Does he have the means to split it if he has a small stove?

Yep. I offered to split it for him. He said he wants to split it by hand. He’s a proud guy. I get that.

Thats cool ona a lot of levels.
We have a friend like that, he runs his Stihl, and a sledge and wedges too. Id rather bring him splits though, his Parkinsons doesnt leave him in a good spot to be out playing with tools..

That’s kind of how this guy is. But he’d rather have the big one hand splitting firewood, than have it split for him.

It was a slow trip, on nicely graded dirt roads. Picked up the lost round in the way back.

Ahhh! 30 degrees and snow! Don't jinx us with that!

Awesome of you to help out! And glad the guy still has the drive to want to split it.

Good on you Cash for helping the neighbor. Whats that white stuff on the ground? Near record highs here today with low to mid 70's

Were you called to that 100 car crash in Denver?

Thanks, buddy. It’s a Yutrax. Pretty dang solid. I lined the mesh floor with plywood.
