Initially I wasn’t too impressed but it produced good flavor & smoked well. I am not sure they are worth the extra money but maybe I need to try a couple more to properly evaluate them.
I got this email this morning : I thought maybe I would buy a box of these : Then I saw this & had to re-evaluate my thought process…
I believe I will be passing on that sweet deal. I did look on CI just to compare. They are out of stock but had them listed for $350 a box.
Had a nice outdoor coffee and cigar this morning with the dogs. Cleaned up the sawdust around the log pile, stacked some rounds that were buzzed up last night, hauled the sawdust away with the mini truck (dump box is sweet!) and laded and stacked some ash that I had cut a month ago but left in the woods. All the while enjoying another one of the perdomo 2 mistakes maduro!!! No band, no box, and not squared at all. But very good!
Looks to me like you bid higher. Free fall price was $88.11 and you had already entered a bid of $115 and a normal auction. No matter, they are good cigars. But I'm willing to bet it will never happen again!
That wasn’t my bid, I just had all 3 on watch list to see what they were bringing as opposed to the free fall bottom price. I bid $75 on that $115 auction, it finished up @ $118.50, I would of had to bid $121.50 on it. That’s not going to happen, the same guy is bidding in the other regular auction but hasn’t been in the free fall auction. It’s says he is from Texas, as the say “everything is bigger in Texas “ that must include the price they pay for cigars.
