That makes sense - our septic only served 2 people.

The weather gods, although making it dark, dreary and rainy (which we need), have also given a blessing. Although the temps have been in low to mid 60's since Monday, the nights have not gotten any cooler and there has been no wind.

The best part about the last several days is that the P43 hasn't run since at least early morning Monday (and it might have been Sunday morning - I don't remember exactly what day I scraped the pot). Even without any sun, the inside temp has ranged between 69 and 71. The basement stove just ran last night for the first time in a while. I think the thermostat was close to kicking on the P43 about that time, but enough air arose to warm it up a bit on this side of the house (bedrooms are at 66).

This morning is the coolest morning since Sunday at 55* - and the pattern is about to change. The wind will start kiicking up, but we should get some sun, so it's a crap-shoot on how it will affect the temp inside. Regardless, tonight should get cold enough to make the P43 kick on once again.

With the wind, the P43 ran once yesterday mid-morning, then the sun started warming the place up. But, it has run twice since yesterday evening and the P61a has run a couple of times since my last post too.

    Down to 38* this morning.

Welp, Mr/Mrs. bear strikes again! Wasn't enough to mess with our feeders. This time he/she went after the chickens. I'll be getting something besides bear spray!! Temp boarded it up for now, Do a better job tomorrow. Likely add some zapping power to deter it! As in electric fence.

Might get a shot gun and some rubber bullets too!! Don't want to harm it. Just want it not to come back!!

Been a busy week. My brother had a couple minor strokes about a month ago. Affected his left hand and leg. He's made a lot of progress since then though the feeling/sensation in his hand and leg aren't there yet, strength is excellent and he's walking with just a cane. He was released from hospital a week ago. He's staying with us as he lives alone about 60 miles from us so he'll be here until we feel he's ready to be alone. PT and OT come to the house and they all think he'll make a great recovery, possibly 100%.

Been going to his place to get some safety bars and such installed in his bathroom, cleaning the place for him. Then spent yesterday and today getting our house sealed up and the P43 ready to go. Got it fired up tonite (already down to 35* here). Nice to hear the clink of pellets again. And to have my coffee cup warmer back:coffee:

Since my post was about 3:30 am, it had several hours to go down - and the actual low temp for yesterday morning was 32*. It is supposed to be in the high 20's this morning - hasn't gotten that low yet, still at 30 so far . . .
