Thanks. My back is good tonight. The question is how will it feel in the morning. Taking ibproufen in anticipation. There is a ton of wood on the ground for the getting. Hopefully feels good enough to grab more tomorrow.
Nice! I'd be on that hardcore till it was all got. 3-4 yr RO sits in the firebox and pumps out btu after btu.
Getting ready to cut down 3 - 50+ yr old apple trees that does the same as that RO does….pumps out the heat…‘cept it’ll be doing it for some meat flavoring. That old Apple burns just as hot as the oak, just more “rare”.
Stick a fork in me, I'm done. I'd like to give a big thanks to simple machines, in this instance a ramp. Lots of red oak, took the lions share of the two trees. Will be back at another date, I doubt anyone will fool with them. Lots of splits in these rounds.
Years back I had to take a dump trailer load of carpet, carpet pad and it was loaded to the very top. The dump does not allow pull offs of any kind. Now its July and its hot and smelly and the ground is soiled with filth, flies and stench. I pull to the dumping area, get out and unload the entire load in a matter of seconds with my thumb. I get out and lower the bed, off I go. I look over and a husband and wife are unloading a flatbed trailer of garbage bags and junk. They have been there unloading well before I got there, they are sweaty and still have half the trailer to unload. The wife gave me a scornful stare and then her husband. I pull away and head home in my air conditioned truck. And people say dump bed trailers are expensive.
