How much snow you figure? We dont have any yet which is odd. Im hoping the drought ends soon. We are a lot better off than the folks in Vancouver (14 hour drive away). There isnt any snow on the mountains yet but snow is in the forecast. -5c/23f with frost this morning. I had a fire last night but the furnace can do its thing while Im at work.

    Local radio station said 14".

Today, we went for a short drive and one spot I drove through had a 2' snowbank along the highway. Parking lots snow was plowed up over 4' already.

Today, the snow is well on the way of settling, compacting and more importantly....melting!

I will be starting the first fire of the season this evening. Very early cold snap down here as it will hit 30 tonight. Some 2 year seasoned oak is on the menu.

The trees that hadn't dropped their leaves yet are looking like candy canes now.

50 and dropping fast towards freezing by dawn. Burning the last of my silver maple with one large barkless wedge cut of white oak on top, just to get rid of it. I almost forgot how nicely white oak burns. :)

38F with a stiff NW wind and some light rain. Rinse & repeat tomorrow they say. This is the crap weather I keep a few cord under the boiler roof for. I put a few pieces of actual "real" Oak in for overnight due to the wind.

About as cold as it’s gonna get here overnight at 38 with the same brisk NW wind as amateur cutter house. Supposed to clear and start warming up here starting thursday in typical Michigan fashion:hair:
