After this stack is full, we'll start the stack of Beech, then another stack of Sugar and Soft Maple and the last that I'll stack in this area is Cherry.
I NEED to finish painting the deck this weekend. Once thats done, Ill move the bundles of kindlin up to the deck, and start moving this seasons oak to the shed. Then, finish splitting and hauling loads up to the empty rack. Its supposed to warm up over the holiday, so any work will be done in the early afternoon.
I took yesterday off from stacking but finished the second row early today with three loads from the woods. I have some family coming in so I'll post some pictures tomorrow. Stay safe in the mid-west, check the 48 hour forecast, day 1,2 & 3. http://www.wright-weather.com/
Just some pictures of the three loads from the woods that finished this stack. My plans for tomorrow......finish another stack depending on the weather. I hauled two loads out from the lower part of our property and the third came from up top.
This is the new stack I started today, I hauled out a total of four loads, 2 from up top and two from the lower half of our property. Since the sky never looked real good, I was watching that instead of taking a bunch of pictures, mother nature finally opened up when I was heading in for the four load. This stack is a combo of Red & Sugar Maple.
I hauled another two loads from up top to finish the stack, I might get the four stack started, pics later. It looks like that system in the mid-west will make its way east for tomorrow, looking at some of the graphs, it might stay below us.
