    Hi Everyone,

    It's been a roughly last couple years. I won't go into detail because this post would sound like a damm country song.

    I was diagnosed with testicular cancer on the 9th. Had a radical orchiectomy on the 16th to remove Lefty. At home recovering now from surgery. Pathology did their slice and dice thing and said its definitely cancer. More tests to come to determine what the rest of the treatment plan looks like.

    I'm still heating with wood, thank god. Between medical bills and heating bills it would be a tough winter otherwise. I'm 2 years ahead, with another year on the ground that might have to wait until spring.

    So sorry to hear this Dan. We went through this over 30 years ago with one of our sons. Fortunately it turned out ok after surgery and chemo but was rough going at first.

    "These signs shall follow them that believe", I believe, so I'll be looming for these signs to follow. Lord, bring healing to Dan's body. You are bigger than cancer always. The created is never bigger than The Creator. Lord speak to Dan as he delves into your word, give him a radical thirst for your word and will, bring hope to his soul. Also let the peace that surpasses all understanding surround him as he discerns you, your will, and your promises.

    It is my belief that we all will die, but that should be of old age, not sickness and misery.
    But through God, all things are possible. That's His promise. See Matt 19:26

    My coworker’s wife took these pictures from her office at my local hospital this morning. It’s the two officers that never made it home from their shift last night. I wouldn’t recommend looking at any YouTube comments about this story. There’s no shortage of sick people cheering for the shooters. God almighty, I’m tired of watching our society rotting from within.
