To all, I would not use generic passwords. People think that they want use a simple password. This way they can remember it. You are better using a password manager.

    • Use the sentence method also known as the "Bruce Schneier Method" for generating your passwords. In this method, a random sentence is used to create a password by using simple rules. For example, take your favorite sentence and use the last two letters of each word used in the sentence. But make sure that the sentence that you use is personal and cannot be guessed.
    • Storing passwords on your PCs or email will put your password security at risk. Use professional and registered password managers to create, manage, and store all of your personal and business accounts’ passwords.
    • Why are words better than random letters for passwords? A user must generate a password that is strong, difficult to guess, and easy to remember because passwords are like keys to your account. Cybersecurity experts prefer words or paraphrases instead of using random letters for passwords because randomly generated passwords are difficult to remember, and there is a high probability that users will not be able to remember them for a long time.

    Some examples
    • Sentence: (using last 2 letters of a word)
      • My trip to Washington DC in April 2020.
        • myiptoondcinil20
        • Take it further: (use of capitalization and letter substitution)
          • mY1pt0ondCin!L20
    • Use of 3 or 4 words that are uncommon to each other:
      • BenjaminRedrocksbonjurcliff
        • Take it further: (use capitalization and letter substitution)
          • bEnj@minreDrocksb0nJurcliff
            • Capitalize E in Benjamin
            • Substitute @ for a in Benjamin
            • Capitalize D for Redrocks
            • Capitalize J in bonjur
            • Leave cliff normal.

    Hopefully this helps.

    Jason

Imagine a hacker could have done that just to hurt the company. It's pretty ludacris IMO.

If it was a hacker or a disgruntled employee don't you think they would of said we were hacked and that message was not ever a policy and said something similar. They didn't and just said that it went out in error or something to that degree. They were testing the waters.

I get emails all the time that say my PP acct has been locked, it's quick to see that any official PP email will have your registered user name in the header, if it don't, it's a phishing email. Do not reply to it.

So, paypal was saying their misinformation was misinformation ?
They've been dangling that $2500 "fine" for over a year. They just haven't included misinformation in it.

Seems suspiciously like testing the waters to me.
    Go Woke, go broke.

Fits right in with the rest of the narrative in this country currently. “If you don’t agree with what I say you will be canceled “ is coming to an abrupt end soon by we the people.

The problem is, there is still enough WACKOS that still and will follow the "woke" narrative. I have a woman who lives down the street who Still says the certain things should be ILLEGAL to say and not to mention she's an avid gun hater :zip:
