Tonight I picked up a gallon of Sthil Woodcutter bar oil at over 13 bucks for a gallon. Mainly to repay my neighbor for some I borrowed.

saw hundreds of Cam2 on display for half the cost. I bought one to try, but if its decent, i may load up on it for the season.

    any use it?

I've used a few gallons of it. It's really no different than any of the other bar oils I've used.

I didn't even know Cam2 made oil of any kind. I used to use their 110 oct. racing fuel in my Camaro when I took it to the track. That was pre-Y2K....memories and great smellin' fuel!

Never used it. But I do use tsc's b&c oil. (Countyline). Never an issue. I wouldn't be too worried abt trying most oils.

I've used the heck outta some Cam2 bar oil...works just fine...if you cut a lot in hot weather, its not super thick, but still seems to do its job.

I did use some quite a while ago , I don't recall having any issues; Have used a lot of brands over the years and never any problems with any of them.

Stihl oil for 13 a gallon is cheap1 I guarantee my closest dealer is a lot more than that.
    Stock up on the Cam2!!

If I found bar oil for $7 I'd buy several gallons of it. It all works good enough. All of it's better than nasty used motor oil!! I don't see a reason to buy expensive Stihl oil. I get that your replacing something you used so you would want to get the brand he had.

clemsonfor I usually buy Husqvarna oil from my dealer. I had to borrow some oil from my neighbor to finish a job, then bought the Stihl to return what i used.
I plan to buy a few more Cam2 while it is available.

I've used it and still have some. I'd rate it just a tad better than Tractor Supply oil. Not super tacky and a bit runny too.

I was in my local RK last night. Employee said they showed 97 on hand. We scoured the store and had half the employees looking in the back. None to be found. Just an empty pallet with a sign on it. I hope to try some but this RK never has ANYTHING on the shelf when I want it.

I might try some of this..if I can get it online . On my last jug of tsc oil. I last bought oil probably 5 years ago. Bought like 20 jugs on sale. I feel empty now !

See if you can find Bel-Ray. Best I've used. I can actually turn my oilers down because it doesn't fling off like the TSC.

So interestingly enough....the difference between the tsc oil and cam2 is .....the cam2 is almost half the price of the tsc. So if I buy 12 one gallon jugs....even with the shipping..ill still be saving money ...over walking into tsc and buying 12. I'll have to recheck my math later. Too much thinking! Plus I'm gonna look up the bel ray stuff too !

BelRay is not as cheap, but for me Made in USA means something. I bought a case for a little under $10 a gal.
From website: "Bel-Ray continues to proudly manufacture all of its products in the United States"

That's not bad for a gallon. And always love when things are made at home ;)
I'm not finding it anywhere near that price.
Morelike $20 and up for a gallon. Must be a covid shortage ...now they can charge more lol

Hmmm... I was gonna buy some Cam2 but it said shipping is $28 for 6 gallons. That makes it close to $12/gal, so, I doubt I'll do that.
