How is your project? I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel Plumber will be here this weekend!
We are fortunate there are no termites and lower humidity here. Some mold in the old bath but thats a project for next summer However this is an older home that several handyman owners have built and worked on for decades, so there are a host of other "unforseens" Not to mention minimal building codes and no inspections. Interesting I spotted the previous drywaller working here yesterday, my GC (great guy) said he let him go. ? . As far as I'm concerned just glad to see progress!
The guys are going to do a long punch list Sat, but we've got main floor plumbing again... after about 4 weeks. In fact, I'm just about to get into that new shower. My honey has been doing well going upstairs, above the shop, and using the bath sink there to wish dishes. She is beyond ecstatic to have her new kitchen sink working. The time lived in the mess, sure makes it sweeter now...
I spent the night on a make shift bed on the subfloor last night due to skunked and panicking dogs. I am thrilled to report the remodeled part of the house held the electric space heater's warmth MUCH better than before!
Nice pics of your remodel WW. Getting to be crunch time on getting that pellet stove installed, what's the news on that?
It is 3:30 pm on Sunday. Its installed, pipes siliconed, attic shield and new cap on roof, OAK done too! If Dear Husband can take a crash course tonight on burning pellets instead of wood, (He actually reads owners manuals ) I will packing up the wagon tomorrow and hauling in my computer, COFFEE MAKER, etc and we will be in! We have all winter to paint, lay pergo and cabinets. Literally my toddlers red wagon.
Via walkie-talkies he says its on!!! He's learning the digital control panel and plans to burn off some the new pipe paint stink for me
