Yeah she is having a hard time with losing everything, she grabbed an old diaper bag on way out that had some baby photos. Kids are 9 and 5.
Sorry that this happened. Any idea just how it started? I've heard that about the difference between men/women..........when leaving a house during a fire, a guy grabs guns, a woman grabs pictures! (of course, that is if everyone is safe first)
Waiting on fire Marshal report. Said smoke was coming from bottom of bedroom wall. exactly what happened. Got them out, went back in hit it with 3 extinguishers, grabbed guns went out. Hooked up garden hose. Unhooked propane.
Wild horse had me up 1/2 the night. First the dog woke us at 1:30 (sleeping in the living room), she kept hitting the trap door which makes a bump sound while back and forth looking through different windows. 3:30 I went to the bedroom and kept hearing bumps and clunks on kids adjoining wall, figured a potty break. Nope, heard more later, got up and checked on her, sound asleep and quiet. Just before 5 rooster crowed and startled it and woke those two up.
Why didn't you just tell those wild horses that it was pasture bed time and to be quiet? I suppose maybe you didn't want to stirrup any trouble? Lucky you didn't yell at them. You could have ended up with a sore throat and been a little hoarse today. I know, this attempt at humor is oat-standing and haylarious.
