I don't know, but Access and bucking couldn't get better right on the street front. Cut up a snort. I"d think it would have to be. How far up do you thing the butt rot goes?

It’s a Northern Red Oak so I won’t be surprised if the entire length of the trunk is hollow.

Is there no road access to the teak? I'd leave the oak if it is shot.

Collateral damage to that bench! Is the damage widespread or some isolated trees/limbs? You taking a lot home?

Some light rain and no wind here from the remnants. Ruined my hoarding plans for the day.

Yeah I can get to the teak. I’ll give away the hollow oak trunk. I’m far enough ahead that I don’t need it

Wow, that did some damage. Hope that wasn't your car. Build something from the teak, it doesn't rot...

There’s a Pimp My Ride joke in that car pic: “Yo dawg! I heard you like trunks! So we put a tree trunk on your trunk!”

On a more serious note, tough seeing pics of storm damage. Hope everyone was ok.

Big hollow trunks make great legs for a rustic slab table ;) You can even cut them so one side opens and you have all the booze in there.

If that's actually teak, don't cut it onto firewood. Seriously. Log length it and make some money. It would be a shame if it's real teak and gets turned into firewood.

Pretty sure he was joking about the teak bench that got crushed. I dont think teal grows in the US.

What am I missing here? I’m pretty sure he was asking about the teak bench the red oak demolished… Still for the price of Teakwood I’d carefully save every remotely gooder board from that bench and turn it into something other than firewood.

Sure thought the branches and their leaves were a dead giveaway of the tree that fell.  Plus the mention of giving away the oak.
