    Morning All. Foggy again this morning but the afternoons clear out and are quite nice. Off work today. It is a statutory holiday so I will be able to catch up on a few things around the house. This will be the third long weekend this month. I like working four days and getting paid for five.

    Bookkeeping, library database entry, house work and my children's story video are on the agenda for today. I have to finish the edges on a baby quilt. I am waiting to hear if I am a great aunt today. My brother's first grandchild so we are all excited. It will be Mom's third great grandchild. Lovely time of year to have a baby.

    Good morning. Got the news that the hearthpad is in and can be installed Monday. So exciting to finally have the stove.

    However, it’s forecasted to be almost 20 degrees Celsius all next week. Way to warm to light the new stove.

    Went to the dentist yesterday. Looks like I need dentures. Yea.

    That's great news. I kow you will be happy to see it completed.
    Probably need to do a few small fires first, to break it in/cure paint. Warmer temps are good for that, open the windows...

    Good afternoon y'all. Hope y'all have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. Back to the 7AM-7PM shift this weekend. Work is going smooth, maybe get on the woodyard tonight.
    IAN missed us, thank GOD. Had some wind yesterday and today. Just a few sprinkles so far. Fla is a mess and it's hitting SC now.

    Go ahead and have a couple small fires. That might cause you to have to open up the house because new stoves will smoke a little. It is not from a leak though. This is why many will light a fire or 2 outside before installing a new stove. It will help a lot to light a few candles as that will take care of smoke.

    Good morning everyone! Great news, Woodwidow, on the new grandnephew!
    We had a nice drive yesterday, still early for the leaves turning, but the tips of some maples were bright red. IMG_20220930_16178.jpg
    Water levels are very low in all the creeks and streams.
    We get a little rain today from the remnants of the hurricane.

    We have it too. Tested yesterday. Wife had a 104° temp Thursday night and basically most of the reported symptoms of the latest strain minus the back door trots.

    I have a nasty hangover like headache and a bit of sinus drainage plus a slight sore throat at the drainage area.

    At least the weather is nice and I can go outside to do whatever while she sleeps.

    Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a SUPER SATURDAY. 55° this morning on the way to work, headed to low 70's. Beautiful blue sky day. Work is going smooth and quiet. We had a nice breakfast supper last night and then split a tote full of oak and a bit of cherry.
    Maybe we can visit the woodyard tonight again.
    Remember those that are struggling, lost loved ones and homes from Ian.
