Got two loads out tonight… will be a few more hopefully before it’s all said and done… there’s still a few good rounds on the ground and two good main trunks left. The owner is going to have to knock the main trunks down for me. Since they are mingle in and around the power/cable lines. But told him I’d be interested in them…

Hired out my JD X720 and my buddies truck. Since I’d knew that I’d be have a pretty good tongue weight… Starting to really like my new trailer, has opened up quite a few scores…

    Load #2

Holy smokes you aren’t fooling around with that setup! With a big trailer like that, and the machine coming along for the ride, I’ll bet there aren’t too many scores you couldn’t handle with that

Thanks.... It might not be the best wood but I've seem to come to like it since theres quite a bit of it around here...

Thanks. Small and Compact with a decent lift capacity... definitely saves the back and those forks are a game changer...

Yeah BRAD , when I upgrade to a larger truck then I can expand. But right now I am just in a holding pattern.

Hmmm. That pronounced white stripe has me thinking Siberian elm still. The size of the trunk too. Most American/red elms succumb to DED long before they get that big. Whichever elm that is, good score

There's 4 or 5 big pieces left, but they are real close to his A/C unit and gas line and not much room for error. Then there's a few more decent sticks left. But again not much room to play with those... I'm think winch time... :sherlock: ... My neighbor has a American elm thats probably 3 adults holding hand around... I've never seen a siberian elm that big and the leaves are bigger than any siberian elms that I've seen.. But who knows ... Its firewood at the end of the day... :D

The last load of elm except for the two standing trunks. When he gets those down he’s supposed to holler at me. But that’s down the road.

Thinking I might need to look into some air bags……. My ol’ truck was doing some squatting…
