    Currently 60 w/ heavy fog in the back 40 (there's a pond about 150yds from our house). Heading to low 80's.

    89 yesterday. Today's high already happened as the temps have been falling since 3:30. 54 now with some wind.

    The lows of below freeing have been changed.....not gonna happen!

    Finished mowing yesterday afternoon in 96F temps. Broke a record set in 1908. Nice.....
    Got a river fishing/floating/camping trip scheduled today/tonight. Low of 45F tonight. I am sunburned and packing thermals to sleep in! :rofl: :lol:

    Wow! We had 72 yesterday. Was cloudy all day with some thunder storms in afternoon. Hearing thunder right now so maybe cold front is coming early.

    70 something here. will be 40's and 50's here too Mike. I reckon we'll have a few night and morning fires this week. I'm enjoying using SS wood and some of the misc. bark deposits we have around.

    I haven't brought the wood rack inside yet, will do that when we begin to burn in earnest. Tomorrow will be rainy and 65. Loaded the stove tonight, brought in a days' worth and stacked it under.

    Not like preparing for a good big winter storm, but it feels good to be ready even on a smaller scale for whats ahead.

    I wasn’t too anxious for winter to come, but that picture almost made me wish it was closer. :) The red maples here are just starting to turn in the low spots. With nights dropping well into the 40s this week, the birches and other trees should start to follow suit.
