Good Morning... :coffee: ... Well I checked on my future wood scrounge its still resting as of last night :binoculars:...Almost like stalking... :loco: ... Tractor is loaded on trailer all necessary equipment is in truck... 10 hours at work and game on.. Not sure how much I can get tonight, but would like to get a dent in it before it rains tonight and tomorrow... Its pretty much all elm... I'm thinking its American or Red elm... Awful dark meat wood for Pizz elm and no white streaks from what I've seen...

    Good morning, members,

Decent day ahead. 54⁰ to start. Heading to mid-70's. Clear.

I fired up the wood stove, yesterday. Just a few chunks. Cool weekend ahead.

I need to help dad with his hearing aids this morning. Then, lunch with a friend.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. 66° this morning, probably gonna be another hot one later. We got some big tops cleaned up, made a trailer load of odd sizes, carried it to an 82 yr old friend that needed some wood. Then we hauled 4 pallets of bricks from the site to our pastor's house, dropped his trailer and then we cleaned up some older tops in the backyard, getting ready to drop the trees around the pool.
Have a technician coming today to fix latch on dryer door. It's under warranty. Guess we will split some wood this morning.
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME

Good morning everyone! Went swimming, came home, and had a bout of vertigo. Took a pill and feel somewhat better now. I had big wood plans for today too! Not giving up yet.
Woodwidow you are getting sucked back into the vortex!

    Good morning everyone IMG_20220920_165345853.jpg
I live very remote my neighbor is 91
He has a 500 acre farm.
And has this deer shack 3 miles from the road
He cleared the trail with a ms250 I built for him year's ago all the way to the shack
But the 16" bar ms250 wasn't having any of these
He stopped by and wanted to borrow one of my 288s or a 394
I told him I'll take care of it
He has a severe hernia and was wanting to borrow a 25lb saw
    Tough fella

Last warm day before the big temperature drop. Forecast 82 but they did yesterday too even though our thermometer never got above 72. Had a couple thunder showers too.

Last evening I went to a meeting about solar farms.

yes, I think I am. this will be the last year of it if I get the job. This is to make up for the year I lost to COVID. It has been fun especially when people come in and say Hey, are you retired? Because it is a temporary position, I have a bit more freedom with the days I want to work. I can work share with another person and it worked out well this spring when we did it.

Awesome. the maples around here are going brown as we hit a dry spell for the last month. I don't think there will be much in the way of colour in the trees this fall.

Morning All. Going to be another clear morning. It got pretty warm yesterday afternoon. campinspecter tweaked something in his back the other day so hopefully he will be able to unload the last load of firewood from the truck this morning. Only a four day work week this week. September is rolling by fast.

    Everyone have a great day.

I thought perhaps some might enjoy this. It is in Michigan's beautiful UP. Well, it may not be beautiful for those who love cities as it is mostly wooded and has 3 of the Great Lakes on its borders.
