You are quite welcome! Only drawback is when im really sweaty and its in my pocket. Can be a bit tricky to get it out!
... Never get tired of seeing that splitter and winch in action.... Thanks for taking the video... Good Job campinspecter on getting 8 cords out of there...
Wow 8 cord is a lot! Once the best stuff is gone, I find myself poking through and taking slightly smaller stuff.....trying to milk all I can out of a site! Nice haul though!
8 cords and he didn't have to move or dispose of the brush which is my least favorite part of the process.
The battery saw is a Stihl MSA 220 c and it uses just under 3 AP 300 S battery's to do 1/2 cord, and I really like it as there is no guess work of whether or not to use the choke to start it ! When the Stihl MSA 300 gets to Canada I may sell the the Husky 562 XP. and get my third battery saw .
Ill put the chalk down usually next to the folding ruler (seldom can i mark an entire log at once) and sometimes lose it. Keep several in the toolbox.
This is what I use, either in red or yellow. The holder works nice as it keeps the chalk from breaking and I just slip it into a pocket.
Same here , and like you said it slips in your pocket. If you put a string on the end and leave it hanging out of your pocket just grab the string and pull it out , no need to remove gloves.
I remember seeing those chalk holders when I was a child at the mill , will have to see if I can find one .
