    About a month ago,, I noticed a branch of red oak decided to give itself to me. Today was gift receiving day. The 435 was the tool of choice.

    Apparently, a 2nd branch was a narrow crotch that the larger branch tried to consume.

    I'll get another picture when the light is more even.

    There's a bit of rot, but lots of meat left on the bone.

    Guessing, a weekend's worth of heat.

    It fell on the small chestnuts, EWP, small sassafras, and some black birch. No real harm done.
