    Good morning! 52F and cloudy, a few showers expected. I have to drag our old wagon out of the Shelter Logic behind the barn after work tonight and see if the tires still hold air. I built my processing center around it so it's a tight space. I'll have to use the skid steer with hitch on a pallet fork because there isn't room for a truck. My niece decided her basketball team needed to use it for a parade float. After that, I may have time for a fairly local firewood scrounge. Have a God day!

    I am sure you can find something else to do that is a bit more fun. I am sitting here typing instead of putting the car in the carport and emptying it of all the paint stuff I brought back from the church last night.

    Morning All. Overcast with fog and smoke again this morning. It was suppose to clear out with a sprinkling of rain but there has been no wind the last couple of days. I went up to the church and we cleaned up our painting mess and put the rooms back in order so we can use them. One room still has too much stuff in it but at least we can use 3/4 of the room. A big job more or less finished. we have another room to paint but that will have to wait until I am off work at Christmas break

    Good afternoon y'all. Mostly blue skies today. It's a beautiful day, 80° with lower humidity. Low 60's/ upper 50's tonight. Work has been smooth sailing, so far. Hope to get more oak cut and split after changing the oil in the splitter.

    Not quite as cold as yesterday morning. I did have a small fire in stove yesterday. I had put a new gasket in the door and wanted to make sure there were no leaks. All was well and I raised the house temperature to a more comfortable level. Now the forecast says the will be no need of that for at least a week. But this is about the time each year for our first fire.

    We had a cold front pass over us last night. Nice clear air moved in. Bright moon shining. 55⁰ with a dp of 53⁰.

    I expect to move some wood around in the woodyard this morning. Then, some grocery shopping.

    Maybe, head out to lunch with a friend.

    Morning All. Dark and foggy out there this morning. campinspecter is headed out for another load of alder firewood. He is slowly running out of places to put it. Which is a nice problem to have but also a bit frustrating as there is lots left to get. Unfortunately alder needs to be undercover if you want to keep it a few years. We might have to build another shed at Mom's place.

    Good afternoon everyone! I found some sugar maple at the dump and got it cut up. Reminds me how heavy the sugar maple I got at WeldrDave's place was.     It started the warmup yesterday. It looks like tomorrow we will be back in the 80's. I was hoping we were done with that. I split a little wood yesterday and did some fixing on the splitter motor. It all put me down for the rest of the day. My back and neck feels a bit better this morning.
