What's this I hear about 10-20" snow in some of the mountains? But we hear about this sort of thing about this time of year usually.

Oh yeah. The high passes have been getting good snow since August.

We got a hard freeze last night. Killed off the last of my wife’s flowers. Woke up to 29 degrees and a thick layer of frost on everything today.

Burning more odds and ends in the Oslo.

32 F this morning at 7 am. I was towing 60 bales of hay to a friend’s cattle ranch. The morning frost is back. Jacket weather at night and in the morning again.

It’s only 72 but still oppressively humid. Looks like we’ll be in the high 40s for lows later this week! That’s going to feel amazing. I’ve had enough of the humidity and I’m ready for that brief stretch of “perfect” weather where I don’t need AC or heat.

Hit 94 for a high today. Our lows are going down (60-70) but the highs are hanging in there.

I did light a small fire to raise the house temp to a more comfortable temp (75 this time) but also to make sure I did a good job of replacing the door gasket.

Not yet. Broke out my long John's to survive those cold nights though. . Can't wait for fall weather to actually get here so I can sweat from work instead of the heat.
