Yes, But one does need a head gasket(possible a new head) Which is the next project. The other runs fine, But the hours are getting up there. Hench why I bought the "lawn mower" :p

I'll use them for work instead of just cutting grass! This "garden" tractor guts grass great! And uses far less petrol than the cut's! Looking for a 50" or larger deck for it next.

Most modern cut's are hydro's. They are horizontal shaft driven transaxle's. No belts involved. Also the Cub 1712 is shaft driven as well. The other "garden" tractors are belt drive with verticle shaft motor's.

They are both green! And run Just like him!! :D

An interesting aside... TSC has not uttered a peep about pellet pre buy this year which tells me a substantial price increase is in the works. First year in a decade they haven't announced the pre buy deal.

Huh, interesting, my area TSC did the pre-buy in July (their normal timing around here). I believe people had until Sept 1 to pick up (again, normal timing). It was more than last year at I think it was $270 or 275/ton. Still way cheaper than anywhere else around here. GS at Aubuchon hardware goes for $8/bag or $320/ton (yes the difference is really that much).

TSC is currently sitting at $6.29/bag and a 5% discount for a ton of MWPs. So they are competitive with the closest HD (30 miles away) who is selling MWPs for 299/ton

Not here, this year, only crickets from them. Not that I need any but I always look to the future.
