Labor Day Marketplace score

This was scored thru a marketplace ad on Labor day. Can anyone identify this.There are more larger rounds that will need to be noodled and split with a sledge and wedge. I will post pictures when I go for another load.

 

Looks like red maple from here. Some up close and clear pictures would confirm/disprove it.

 

I’m still thinking red maple. barkWHispererererer I mean buZZsaw BRAD has a good grasp of bark identification. Let’s see what him say.
