Hopefully going to look at a bobcat 1600 articulated wheel loader tonight or tomorrow, and I can't seem to find alot of info just doing a search
Do any of you guys have any experience good/bad with them?
Unfortunately don't have alot of info as far as hours or condition, being an estate sale my aunt knows little about it

Knowing the kind of person my uncle was, it shouldn't be a complete basket case

I'll check in with more details soon
    Thanks, Mark

Helps to know who owned it. Let us know what you think after checking it out.

Had a look at the unit the other day, cosmetically needs some help
    Had a so-so repaint

Engine started with boosting ( kubota), runs well otherwise with minimal smoke and revs up nice
Hydraulics work for the mast and bucket
Forward and reverse are painfully slow, but think there is some issues with the linkage from the pedal to the hydrostat being tight/stiff

Has aux Hydraulics which is a plus
No cab heater, but thats easily dealt with
Cab windows and doors need some help definitely!
    Tires in good shape

Hour meter shows about 1500 hours, who knows if it works (didn't run long enough to check)

Mainly will use the unit for snow clearing and obviously firewood duty
Makes me a bit nervous that theres little info online about them
I'll post some pics as soon as I can get better cell service

Have you got better service yet? Did you buy it?

I have zero experience with skid steers so other than general equipment and knowledge of stuff I can offer little help.

Well i figured i should update this thread
I ended up buying the loader and brought it home

The biggest problem I was having is i couldn't find a serial number on the unit, knew it wasn't stolen or a bank lean on it
The biggest reason was being able to lease it for the business, which i ended up paying for it cash instead

After some much needed maintenance ie changed engine oil, greased everything, (which i don't think had seen grease in years)
Was able to clear the first snowfall of the year

Not pretty, but sure works well!

Ended up repairing the loader upright(?) That had rotted through with a fresh 1/4" steel plate (grey area)
Need to fix a hydraulic leak by the resevoir tank, which I'm hoping will be an easy fix

It spent the first few years of its life in a fertilizer plant not far from here

Had one 20 plus years ago. Good machine. Wish I had kept it. Nice find.
