We have 2 corded phones. One on the wall and a rotary Mickey Mouse Phone. Both work fine.

 

When was the last time you used them?

 

Yep, my dad has one on the kitchen wall...

 

The wall hanger is used a couple times a month.

Mickey mouse, not so much. It does ring whenever a call comes in.

 

Neighbors still have a landline.

 

I still have a landline, its how I get my internet service. And still have a corded phone with an answering machine!

 

Regarding side "hustle" incomes, I can see it already..........

Any bicycles sold at these type of sales must be equipped with training wheels; no exceptions!

 

And will review your Ring doorbell and neighborhood street lamp/security cam (not that uncommon anymore) footage to make sure you didn't try to slide anything past them...

 

I saw where those unfortunates with the smart T-stats (or whatever they're called) were disallowed control of them during a hot spell due to the fear of causing a brown out of power grid. Did you see that? Was it a "nest" t-stat maybe?

Cali Gov last Monday proclaimed no more new gas powered vehicles in 2035 can be sold in the state. Tuesday he was pleading to turn the heat way up on the t-stats and don’t charge your electric cars (they currently are less than 10% of vehicles there). Whadajoke

 

Yup, sure did. Technology is great, huh?!

 

You had to volunteer to sign up for that program here. They gave you $45 if you qualified.

They were also almost giving away the smart thermostats.
