Regular FHC viewers may recognize this mound. Next door to a lumberyard i go to on occasion. Its storage for a tree service/land clearing company. This eagle eyed black locust maniac caught a few in the pile. Can you pick them out? IMG_1676.JPG IMG_1677.JPG

I had to turn the magnifier on but I found those three near the top before i looked at your second pic. The ends look freshly cut.

I know how to finger paint lol

the circle under the question mark. Looks like two log ends. That would make six.

Very good Joe! I missed a couple of those.

Is the "fingerpainting" an app on a phone or a standard feature? I hate those phones. Everytime i touch hers i mess it up. Having 90% of a thumb with a tingly tip doesnt help either.:picard:

That bark is really unique. Up in VT, we have quite a few in the neighborhood lining the dirt road.

Sassafras is a close match. We have a lot of sassafras on the roadsides in my area. Very little Black Locust. Drive north or south from me and Black Locust becomes more plentiful. I’ve actually inspected some of the sass in my area just to make sure lol
