It’s been a long time since anything has happened on the lot but that’s changing now. Permits seem to take forever but the property is marked so I now know which love trees need to go. Hauled this out today. 2 cords took me a little under an hour to load. 80 and very humid today. Glad my pool wasn’t far away.

Cut down, limbed, and bucked 4 more oaks today then filled the dump truck with another two cords.

Guess I missed this, good job and looks like fantastic size wood. Keep up the good work and hope Robbie's wood stand is still going strong with sales.

I'd say you hit the hoarders lottery with this one. Great wood at your back door what's not to love.

2 loads out today. About 3.25 cords total. It was 90 with real feel of 99. I had hoped to get more done but was feeling the 4 cords I loaded the last two days and want something in the tank for tomorrow

Way to get it done Joe! Goldilocks white oak is more appreciated for sure after loading four cords in the heat. Is Robbie taking to hoarding & firewood making more and more?

Been working on this each day for the last 5-6 days and am almost done. Got the chipper from my brothers farm and chipped all the tops between Friday evening and today. Chipped right into my dump truck and dumped at a couple neighbors houses. Had about 35 yards of chips. The last 3 trees were good sized white pines which I dropped right along the road today and chipped as I trimmed it up.
i had a dead leaner caught up in this white oak that needed to come down. I put a chain around the base (already detached from the ground) and started pulling it with my truck. Never thought it would come unstuck. Hard to tell by the picture but the stump end had to be at least 12 feet off the ground before it finally broke free.
Still have a few oak on the ground that are limbed but not cut up. Wood tally will end up being right around 10 cords of oak and about 3 cords of pine.

All done with clearing the lot for the house to be built…for now. May need to take a few more down once the septic location is marked. Ended up with about 12 cords of oak. Have roughly 40 stumps (6” diameter and up- did t count the little guys.). Not every stump is pretty but every tree was taken down safely and landed close enough to where I wanted them to.

You sir have been very busy. Great job on getting them all down safely and bucked up. When's the splitting party?
