    Wind and lake never really died down overnight. Wind wasn't bad; just a bit past breezy.

    61 heading to low 70's today.

    While I was out with the pup much earlier, I was looking at the wood piles wondering just how soon I should move them into the basement......:whistle:

    That "feeling" is here. :doh:

    Big storm rolled through yesterday and has really cooled things down. It’s 64 with a dew point of 59. :dex: Only supposed to hit 82 w/ much less humidity today. Yesterday was oppressive till those clouds covered up the sun. Itching for hoodie weather!

    Getting some leaves on the ground already! Not many but enough just to make you wonder why the heck is that happening!

    Lots of leaf change but mostly yellows. Especially cottonwood right now for leaf change. I also notice except for oaks most of the leaves have lost the deep green.

    68 now with mid-90's next few days. After that upper 80's so still on the warm side of things here. Had a couple small showers but still close to 6" down for the year. Corn not looking good at all.

    Down to 53 overnight; 55 now. I notice the window 99 opens for the puppy is not as wide as it used to be! No winds to speak of, only a light breeze.

    Today/tomorrow in upper 80's. Saturday in mid 60's.

    I caught 59 at one point on the morning commute, in a valley. We're still mid to low 60's overnight. Nice break from the humidity right now.

    Still warm here (same location as The Wood Wolverine ), but today is much better than yesterday.

    Nowhere close to burning wood yet. Just burning calories for now... more to be burned this weekend... gotta get the latest scrounge split up... combo of maple, mulberry, and locust.
