Looks like I'm going to need a new blower.
Trying to decide between the Echo PB9010T and the Stihl BR800.
    Anyone have any input?
    Haven't bought a blower in 26 years.
    Thanks all.

Br600 is plenty big. I haven’t used the 800 but I heered it’s bulky and heavy by people who have tried one. I’ve had a 600 for 10yrs and it will move a bunch of leaves.

    I'm bulky and heavy myself!!
I figured I would just get the biggest baddest one available as it will probably be my last one. Not going be used for long periods just trying to get it done as fast as possible.

I think either one of them would make for a good backpack blower.

Personally I'm not a fan of Stihl's 4 Mix system and for that reason, I went with the Echo.

I have the BR600 and it does OK but I wouldn't buy another one. It seems to have good torque but not the RPM of a true 2 stroke.

I ended up getting the echo 9010. I still have to pick it up but they will assemble run and test it out.
Funny thing is people complain it's heavy but it is only 4 pounds heavier than my old one and 3X more powerful.
See if it makes 26 years before breaking down like my old one.

I think the echo will work fine for you. I worked for an echo dealer at one time and the blowers did just fine.
Most of the time the problems are with the hose or controls or something other than the motor. Just a matter of taking care of it and it will last a long time.

Er no, no I don't. I stopped buying them have enough to be buried with them.
The 0222-1 Milwaukee with 4 screws and tapered spindle is in my opinion the best corded drill for production work ever made. Long out of production so hording I went. Have around 25 at the shop for special uses, they tap holes like crazy. About 6 or 7 NOS ones and about 40 ish runners waiting for their turn at TLC.
    And that's just the 3/8" ones !

I am a Stihl guy but bought a Husky BT 350 (not looking at it right now though)leaf blower some years back and it has been excellent. Starts very easy every time and not heavy with a good harness. Just in case you're wanting another opinion
